Emme sits at the dock in Brunswick Georgia at Brunswick Landing Marina

I had a nice flight down to Georgia and spent a week preparing for our trip in 3 weeks. It was nice to have some 70 degree temps after our last cold snap.  The bottom was scrubbed, systems tested and non perishable supplies loaded on board. Many smaller but important tasks like topping off the water the batteries, changing out zincs, topping off the propane tanks and changing the transmission oil were done as well. All we have to do when we arrive in the 13th of February is to fill up the water tanks, clean up the decks and put on board the perishable groceries. We are fortunate to have great neighbors at the marina where the people on the other side of our finger regularly hose of our decks to rid them of bird droppings. They keep an eye on things for us when we are not there and have a beautiful wooden powerboat from the 60s. We're looking forward to heading off to places where we have not been before and will post updates as we are able as we travel along.
